DELIVERING RESULTS FOR WISCONSIN
Alex Joers was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2022.
He proudly serves the residents of District 81. Since taking office, he has focused on delivering solutions that make a real difference for Wisconsin families.
Meet Alex Joers
I am proud to call District 81 my home. This is where I began my career, where I have served my neighbors, started a family, and where I am committed to building a stronger future for all of us. My decision to run for office was never about politics. It was about stepping up when I saw families struggling to make ends meet, underfunded schools, and a legislature that was being irresponsible with our tax dollars. I believed we could do better, and I still do.
From serving on the Dane County Board to representing our community in the State Assembly, I have focused on showing up, listening carefully, and working hard to deliver real results. I believe leadership should be grounded in service, guided by common sense, and accountable to the people we represent. This work is personal to me because this community is home. And I will always fight to make things better.

PRIORITIES FOR OUR COMMUNITY
The challenges facing Wisconsin families are real, and they deserve more than talking points. I am focused on lowering everyday costs, protecting fundamental rights, strengthening our public schools, supporting small businesses and farmers, and defending our democracy. These priorities are about making sure working families can build stable, secure futures right here in our community. I will continue to fight for practical, common-sense solutions that improve people’s lives and move Wisconsin forward.
WISCONSIN STATE ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 81
Assembly District 81 is a unique blend of communities that I’m proud to represent. From the growing neighborhoods around Middleton and Waunakee to the rural areas stretching through Dane County and into places like Mazomanie, Black Earth, and Sauk City, this district reflects both the energy of the Madison area and the deep roots of small-town Wisconsin. Our district includes families, farmers, small business owners, and commuters who all want the same thing: strong schools, safe communities, and a government that listens. I’m committed to making sure every corner of this district is heard and represented at the Capitol.
